What the results mean

• 3★ Endorsed Instructor
  Indicates the highest level of recognition. Endorsed instructors have met additional professional criteria and maintain active recognition.
  
• 2★ Affiliate Instructor
  Indicates active membership and progression towards endorsed status. CPD may be in progress or pending.
  
• 1★ Instructor
  Indicates only an entry-level qualification is held. Employers should request evidence of recent CPD, typically completed within the last 18 months.

Why can’t I browse a list of instructors?

This register is for verification, not marketing. A name must be provided to confirm status.

What does ‘current CPD should be shown’ mean?

It means the instructor holds an entry-level qualification and employers should request evidence of recent professional development.

Does 2★ mean CPD has been completed?

2★ indicates active membership and progression towards endorsement. CPD may be in progress.

Why isn’t contact information shown?

For data protection reasons, only verification information is displayed.

What happens if an instructor’s membership lapses?

Their recognition level reverts accordingly and this change will be reflected in the register.
