ICI training venues

Become an indoor cycling training venue

ICI works with suitable gyms, studios, leisure centres and education providers around the UK to host public indoor cycling instructor training.

We welcome venues with the right facilities and an interest in building an ongoing relationship with a specialist indoor cycling training provider.

Put your studio to work as a professional training venue.

Your indoor cycling studio is not in use every hour of the week. Hosting ICI training gives that space another useful role while bringing specialist instructor development into your organisation and local area.

It can strengthen the professional image of your facility, help you keep your own instructors developing, and give prospective instructors a reason to come through your doors.

ICI runs the training, administration, assessment and quality assurance. You provide the studio, the bikes and agreed access.

How it works

You provide the venue. We run the training.

The arrangement is deliberately straightforward. ICI takes responsibility for the course; the host venue makes sure we have the right place to deliver it.

Your venue provides

The studio and practical access

A suitable indoor cycling studio with enough safe, working bikes for the course.
Space for teaching and discussion alongside the practical riding element.
Reliable access on agreed course dates, including enough time for setup and assessment.
A named contact so arrangements can be agreed quickly and clearly.
ICI provides

The course and everything around it

Public bookings and student administration for ICI places.
Specialist ICI tutor delivery using current ICI training and standards.
Course materials and student support before, during and after the practical training.
Assessment, quality assurance and certification through ICI.
Is your venue suitable?

You may already have everything we need

If you already run indoor cycling classes, the practical requirements are usually quite simple.

Studio and bikes

A suitable indoor cycling studio with enough safe, working bikes for the course.

Teaching space

Somewhere suitable for explanation, discussion and assessment alongside the practical work.

Named contact

One person who can coordinate access, timings and practical arrangements with ICI.

Ongoing relationship

An interest in hosting ICI training from time to time, rather than simply offering one-off room hire.

Why become a training venue?

Make your studio part of something bigger

Hosting specialist training can add value to your facility without asking you to become a training provider yourself.

01

Strengthen your professional image

Hosting recognised specialist training shows that instructor development and professional standards matter in your facility.

02

Keep your own team developing

Having ICI training come through your venue creates a natural route into further instructor development and keeps training visible within the organisation.

03

Bring specialist training into your area

Your venue becomes somewhere local instructors can access ICI training, helping strengthen the wider indoor cycling instructor network around you.

A closer relationship with ICI

Training venues can become ICI Studio Partners

If the relationship is working well and you want to stay more closely connected with ICI, your venue can move into Studio Partner status at no additional cost.

Studio Partner status is for organisations that want an ongoing relationship with ICI beyond an individual course date.

No partnership fee for ICI training venues

It is a natural next step for venues that want to keep hosting training, stay connected with ICI, and make instructor development a more visible part of their studio.

What happens next?

From initial conversation to first course

We start with the practical details and make sure the arrangement works for both sides.

01

Tell us about the venue

Send us your location, studio capacity and a brief outline of the facilities available.

02

We review suitability

We look at the studio, bikes, teaching space and practical access arrangements.

03

Agree how it will work

We confirm responsibilities, access arrangements and how future course dates would be agreed.

04

Schedule the training

Public course dates are then arranged by agreement, according to demand and ICI's training schedule.

Could your venue become part of the ICI training network?

Send us your location, studio capacity and a few details about the facilities. We can tell you whether it looks like a good fit and what the next step would be.
